Starting in his hometown of Detroit, Stoney did the morning show at legendary W4 FM. He then moved to be with Jack Thayer and John Lund at WGAR in Cleveland. Then it was out west to Los Angeles with Chuck Blore and Ted Atkins at KiiS. In 1976 he went to NBC at 93KYS in Washington D.C. where he also became part of one of the most successful Top 40 stations in America at ABC Q107. He spent twelve years at K-HITS, KZLA and KLAC in Los Angeles before heading to Pittsburgh where he currently resides at the country heritage CBS station Y108. |
